Many Scales & Ember products are made to order. This means selected items may be produced after your order is placed, rather than being held as ready-made stock.

Delivery timelines may vary depending on the product, production requirements, destination, courier availability, customs processing, public holidays, regional disruptions, and other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Ready-to-ship items may dispatch sooner than made-to-order or personalized products.
A signature may be required upon delivery.
Free shipping does not necessarily include import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, courier handling fees, or other local charges imposed by the destination country.

Once the twenty-four (24) hour cancellation window has passed, or once production, personalization, fulfillment, or shipping has started, orders cannot be canceled for a refund unless required by applicable law.
For technical and production reasons, it may not be possible to change an order once it has been confirmed, processed, produced, personalized, or shipped.
Scales & Ember does not offer refunds for change of mind, sizing preference, buyer’s remorse, or personal preference on made-to-order or personalized products once the cancellation window has passed.
This does not affect any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws if an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or not as described.

If your request is reviewed and approved, we may arrange a replacement or exchange where appropriate. For approved faulty, damaged, or incorrect items, we will arrange courier collection of the affected item and send a replacement product at no additional cost.

We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse, neglect, incorrect washing, improper handling, alteration, accidental damage, or failure to follow care instructions.
